Who it's for

Three starting points, one standard.

Whether you just finished theatre school or your agent wants updated photos, the session adapts to where you are.

Young actress in black and white Emerging

You're starting out

Fresh out of school, first agent, first casting profile. We build your two essential shots: bring a few tops and we choose together on the day.

Actor in a white shirt, knowing expression Working actor

You're already working

New haircut, new range, an agent asking for fresh shots. Several looks in one session, from commercial to dramatic, delivered in your agency's formats.

Professional portrait of a man in a blazer, black background Professional

You need an image

Speaker, artist, entrepreneur. The same care as an actor headshot for LinkedIn, a website or a poster, without the stiff corporate look.

The session

You pick your shots like on a contact sheet.

I direct you through the whole session. Then you get a private gallery and circle your favourites. I retouch with restraint: they should recognise you when you walk into the audition room.

Guillaume Gorini, Montreal photographer
About

I'm Guillaume Gorini, a Montreal photographer since 2009.

Before headshots, I photographed weddings, sports, dance and high-end interiors. Fifteen years learning to read light and, above all, to put people at ease in front of the camera.

In portraits I explore texture and light, but the person is what matters. A good headshot is you on a good day, not a smoothed-over version of you. That's what a casting director wants to see, and what I look for in every session.

FAQ

Before you come.

What should I wear?

Plain tops in strong or neutral colours, no logos or big patterns. Bring 2 or 3 options per planned look. Avoid pure white, and all black on a black background. The wardrobe guide arrives after you book.

I've never posed. Is that a problem?

No, that's most people who come to the studio. I direct you the whole time: posture, eyes, intention. We start slowly and look at the images together on screen.

Will agencies and Casting Workbook accept my photos?

Yes. I deliver every photo in 8 × 10 and 4:5, high resolution, with natural retouching that meets agency and industry standards: no smoothed skin, no altered features.

Can I use my photos everywhere?

Yes, for your career: agencies, casting platforms, social media, website, résumé. Just credit the photographer when you can.

What if I need to cancel?

No problem: write to me as soon as you can and we'll find a new date together.
